STORMWATER COMPLIANCE

STORMWATER TRAINING PROGRAMS

McGrath Consulting has designed training programs for both its Construction and Industrial clients. Stormwater training is required for all employees who work in areas where construction and/or industrial activities are exposed to stormwater. Company employees are responsible for implementing measures necessary to meet the conditions of Federal, State and Local laws. These employees include, but are not limited to, laborers, foreman, equipment operators, inspectors, maintenance personnel, and all members of your Pollution Prevention Team. Our training programs cover the contents of the SWPPP or WPCP, the control measures implemented to achieve compliance with applicable discharge requirements, spill containment and cleanup procedures, maintenance, monitoring, inspection, planning, reporting, and documentation requirements. The EPA recommends that training be conducted for any applicable employees at least annually and whenever a new employee starts who meets the description above. The training we provide includes attendee documentation that will serve as certification of attendance. The modules are customized towards your company and its operations and will ensure that your employees are trained on the control measures they are expected to implement.

McGrath Consulting offers a FREE on-site evaluation of your current Stormwater Pollution Prevention Training Program, including analysis of your facility SWPPP and Best Management Practices (BMP).   Our certified technicians will assist you with the development and implementation of a comprehensive training program that will ensure your company is in compliance with the regulations set forth by the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
